Day 3 - Buckwheat Crepes with Thyme Cream Tomatoes

I am super tired and so I will just leave you with a picture of the final results...details regarding the "making of..." to come tomorrow.

It was entirely too tasty.  There is none left.










So, as I've heard always happens, the first crepe went in the trash...or to the dog.  Except that we don't have a dog and while Gabrielle sometimes acts like a dog, I don't think she could eat a whole crepe.  But she sure is cute...

She would sure give it a good go especially if it had butter or tuna on it.  Or spaghetti sauce as she is a weird cat even by cat standards.

All subsequent crepes were either consumed or frozen for future consumption with various savory type toppings-like caramelized onions or bacon.  Cheese is always a good option for pretty much anything.
The topping last night was tomatoes with cream.  Which was so entirely yummy, it might be wrong.

Here is an "action shot" of me pouring in the cream...it's actually a wee bit difficult to pour cream into a very hot pan and take a photo with your phone...but I prevailed.
